Plant Food and Organic Fertilizers

Besides light, nothing makes a plant happier and bigger than using the correct plant food and organic fertilizers.  Your plant foods of choice will depend on which grow stage it’s currently in.

With such a wide selection of plant food an organic fertilizers on the market such as General Hydroponics, Fox Farm, Dutch Master, Superthrive, etc., which one do you choose? Should you use liquid fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer, or some type of advanced nutrients?

A great rule of thumb as you decide which plant food and organic fertilizers to use is this:  Vegetative stage should have more nitrogen and the flowering stage should have more phosphorus. (All our plant food and organic fertilizer products should say what stage they are best suited for.)
